An absolutely huge breakfast menu, for me it was too much choice but I must say the food was good and true to the menu. The service was a little curt but all in all I cannot knock this breakfast find.

I had to spend quite a long time in this coffee shop and the service I received was exceptional. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was top notch. I'll go there any time I can.

We recently visited The Farmhouse and overall had a lovely experience. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The burgers and savoury pancakes were absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of our meal. The cappuccinos were also very good, although the portions felt a bit small in the glass mugs.
Unfortunately, the French toast was a miss for me. It was quite dry and paying an extra R14 for a tiny 8cm strip of bacon felt like a bit of a rip-off.
That said, the restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a lovely atmosphere, especially the outside seating area where we sat. It’s a pity there isn’t a play area for kids because the outdoor space would be perfect for families. Despite a few negatives, we will definitely visit again.

I didn't have high expectations as I'm a bit fussy and not every restaurant seems willing to cater to my specific requests. But I decided to give The Farmhouse a try as I really wanted a toastie and the photos looked good.
Super glad I did because I was, and am, blown away by the quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, and their willingness to go the extra mile for my foibles.
So far everything I've had has been delicious, and today I had a coffee milkshake that was absolutely sublime.
Kudos to the owner and all the staff - this is a hidden gem and I am so glad I discovered it.

My friends and I like to check out different eatplaces and we decided to go to Farmhouse restaurant because we've read some good reviews about the place and were we amazed.Beautiful , intimate and laidback setting,so we expected plain and simple food.Plain and simple food we got,but it was elevated to a top notch level.We normally like our burgers and steak,and so we did,but our waiter also recommend Egg Benedict's.A first for me but,Wow.So we ended up having a bit of this and that.Big up to staff and establishment.See you again.Experience deserves a 5 star ⭐ rating

What a lovely find in Somerset West. Haven't been out in the town for a while and did not expect such a great Cafe restaurant in the town. Great location just that little bit away from main road, excellent quality classic farmhouse food featuring local South African classics plus international farmhouse inspired dishes. Love the local is lekker ethos. Staff were great, friendly and efficient, food was excellent quality and plentiful but still very affordable. Will definitely be back and recommend it. Good coffee, very important 😁

This restaurant has fabulous food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. There is inside and outside seating. Outside seating allows pets. The bathrooms are clean and fresh. It is obvious management cares about this place. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. The menu has a wide choice of dishes and there are daily specials at reduced prices. Pricing and value is very good. It is a lovely place for breakfasts and lunches. Parking is safe and plentiful. It is well worth a visit.

This has quickly become my favourite restaurant in Somerset. The food is absolutely fantastic, I've never had a meal that was anything short of delicious. The coffee is great, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

I won a R500 voucher for dinner. We were there last night. The food was delicious and service excellent. Hope the new owner is well supported and can make a success of this business as The Farmhouse is part of Somerset West's history.

A cosy and welcoming place to have a meal. Indoor fireplace wards off the winter morning chill, coffee is tasty, food is plentiful and feels like it was cooked at home. The traditional Eggs Benedict is an absolute winner!

Food was amazing, one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. The atmosphere, the wood fire place keeping the place warm. Definitely would recommend going there with friends or family. Oh did I tell you how awesome the staff is. Oooh their homemade jam. Definitely coming back.

Service is very friendly. There are plenty in seating inside and outside.
Food was great, well prepared and a very generous portion. It caters for every taste.
The Farmhouse is also wheelchair friendly with more than enough parking available

We used to go often to the Farmhouse and always had a great all-round experience. Since New Management has taken over, we love it! Great food, service, friendly staff and the "new look" is much better. If you went there before, you won't regret visiting again and again and again.....

The Owner was super accommodating when I told him I am gluten and dairy intolerant. He had my pancakes mix made specially made for me, wich was already gluten free. I have not found any other restaurant in Somerset offering so many gluten free items on their menu and then be prepared to make something specially for me. My husbands omelet was also perfect.
Well done Farmhouse!! The staff is also super friendly.

Stopped in for a late breakfast/brunch and sat outside under the trees. Lovely service from super friendly staff. We had someone who was celebrating a birthday with us, and the staff made her feel special, helping us to surprise her in a small way.
Our breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh - love how you can add or swap to your plate with no difficulty - extra bacon, no problem; or swap chips for hashbrowns, etc.
Plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible, indoor or outdoor seating, vegetarian options, all the basics are well-catered for.
We'll be back!

What a stunning coffee shop tucked away at this very busy Somerset west shopping ☕🌞 centre! Spacious, lovely and cool after the terrible heat outside. 🌞🥵 Our waitress was nice and friendly and helpful 😁👍

Very friendly staff, good food and nice atmosphere. Ample parking on the premises. Had a birthday lunch for 23 adults, big menu to choose from. Food arrived very quickly. Would use them again.
